WasteBuild 2021 Coronavirus Statement

WasteBuild 2021 Coronavirus Statement

coronavirus covid-19 wastebuild

Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, we would like to reassure our community that we are taking every precaution necessary to deliver WasteBuild live in a way that offers a safe environment and valuable experience to our attendees, when we return to Amsterdam for the second edition later this year from 16-17 June 2021.

Given the emergence of vaccines, the latest government advice is that some level of normality will be returning by March, and that by June the construction and events industries will be well on their way to recovery from the impact of the virus. We will of course be returning to live events with all the appropriate health and safety measures in place.

As part of our commitment to delivering a safer event, we will be implementing measures to ensure the safety of our attendees. These include larger aisles; a one-way system around the venue; hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the venue; increased frequency of cleaning at the venue; dedicated networking and discussion areas around exhibition stands; and much more.

We have also launched our online event series, WasteBuild 365, which provides unique year-round content and networking opportunities for organisations within the built environment seeking circular solutions. The platform will also be used to stream the live WasteBuild event content from Amsterdam next June.

We will continue to follow advice from our stakeholders and the City of Amsterdam to ensure WasteBuild can take place safely and productively for all those involved.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
